At Clacton Arts Centre, we aim to make our workshops, classes and events enjoyable and accessible to everyone.

We understand that sometimes plans change. Our refunds and cancellations policy is designed to be fair to participants while recognising the costs involved in organising our activities.

If You Are Unable to Attend

If you book a workshop, class or event but are subsequently unable to attend, we cannot normally offer a refund.

This is because places may be limited and costs will often have been committed in advance.

Transferring to Another Workshop

Where possible, we are happy to offer participants the opportunity to transfer their booking to another workshop.

Transfers are subject to the following conditions:

• The alternative workshop must be of the same value.

• It must be delivered by the same tutor.

• Places must be available.

• You must contact Clacton Arts Centre no later than 48 hours after the workshop you were originally booked to attend.

Transfers are offered at our discretion and cannot always be guaranteed.

If We Cancel a Workshop or Event

If Clacton Arts Centre cancels a workshop, class or event, participants will be offered a full refund.

Where appropriate, we may also offer the opportunity to transfer to a rearranged date or alternative activity.

Circumstances Beyond Our Control

Occasionally, events may need to be cancelled or postponed because of circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather, emergencies or government restrictions.

If this happens, we will contact affected participants as soon as reasonably possible and explain the available options.

Refunds will be provided in accordance with applicable consumer law.
